500/1000 Giveaway!

Greetings, Beardies!

A while back I had mentioned on Facebook (and by default, Twitter) that, in honor of reaching 500 Likes on our Facebook Page and 1000 Followers on Twitter, I would be holding a Giveaway.

A Giveaway, there shall be...and it's a doozie! We have some great prizes, donated by some great authors. In addition to their generosity, I've decided to donate a prize of my own.

Author Spotlight: Brian Rathbone (Complete with Interview)

Bonjour Beardies,

A while back (not too far, however), I did a Book Spotlight on Brian Rathbone's Call of the Herald.  The Spotlight was long overdue—too long, really, considering it was nearly a year from when I first put out the feelers for willing victims to interview.

I never forgot about Brian.  I promised him an interview, and an interview he'd receive.  I knew he had a building Fandom already, and I wanted my questions to come from a fan—me.  I had read the premise of his series, so I was already a fan...but I couldn't call myself a true fan until I had actually read his work.

After finishing Call of the Herald, I was definitely a true fan.  So, without anymore delay, here's my Author Spotlight on Brian Rathbone.

Book Spotlight: Call of the Herald (The Dawning of Power Trilogy, Book 1—A World of Godsland Novel) by Brian Rathbone

Good Ev'ning, Beardies!

This Spotlight has been long overdue, and I sincerely apologize to Brian Rathbone for its delay. Reading it required a Kindle, and whereas I have the Kindle App on both my phone and laptop, reading on either one is a nightmare! Alas, my birthday rolled around, as they usually do, and not only did I get a year older (though, technically, I only aged a day!), I also received my now-beloved Kindle.  That beautiful, monogrammed case you see is via DODOcase, and its interior is my favorite shade of purple!
At any rate, Rathbone's was the first title I read on my Kindle—and what a refreshing read it was! So, without further ado...
