Kelsey J. Mills

Kelsey J. MillsThe Bearded Scribe's youngest Contributor, joined the team in September 2012 after Court Ellyn retweeted that The Bearded Scribe was seeking reviewers for the blog.

Kelsey was born and raised in the beautiful city of Regina, located in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan (pictured below), and has been reading and writing since before she can remember. She spent most of her childhood playing with her toys in the basement, concocting epic tales—of war, love, and betrayal—lovingly acted out by plastic animals; however, when she wasn't playing with her toys, Kelsey could be found devouring any and all books she could get her hands on. To this day, she has trouble figuring out where to put all of her books. Some of her favourite titles are: Enemy Mine by Barry B. Longyear, Robot Visions by Isaac Asimov, and White Fang by Jack London.

Kelsey’s early writing was focused around a feline theme, but today she writes social science fiction, free verse poetry, and whatever else she feels inspired to scribe. She was President of the Creative Writing Club at her high school and is planning on founding one at the University of Regina where she is currently majoring in Psychology and minoring in English. Kelsey’s pieces, as well as her blog, can be found at here.
